Stick Insects for Sale: All species listed below are in stock and are sold as small juveniles (usually 2nd or 3rd instar). Mature/larger insects are sometimes available – price and availability on request.. Detailed Care Information is supplied with all sales. Shipping: We only ship within Australia and do not ship to Western Australia. Only Spiny Leaf, Crowned, Strong Stick Insects and The Australian Leaf Insect can be sent to Tasmania. Orders with live insects are sent via Express Post on Mondays. Egg only orders are sent by surface mail with tracking. Posting of orders is delayed during extreme weather.

PICK UP from Banyo in North Brisbane, Queensland is an option for anyone local.

Freight Costs and Payment Options: The freight cost for Insect only orders and Start-Up Kits is $14. Freight for Egg Only Orders is included in cost of the eggs. Payment can be made by Paypal. A PayPal account is not required to pay using PayPal.

The Giant Spiny Forest Katydid, ( Phricta spinosa ) is an insect that can be housed with stick insects and is hardy and suitable for schools. Adults can grow up to 11cm long in body length, but can have antennae well over twice this long. Katydids feed on a variety of leaves, bark and vegetables. They require an enclosure with wire mesh (not nylon) of minimum size 40cm tall x 30cm x 30cm and room temperature of 18 to 28 deg C. Not for sale to Western Australia.
