Stick Insects for Sale: All species listed below are in stock and are sold as small juveniles (usually 2nd or 3rd instar). Mature/larger insects are sometimes available – price and availability on request.. Detailed Care Information is supplied with all sales. Shipping: We only ship within Australia and do not ship to Western Australia. Only Spiny Leaf, Crowned, Strong Stick Insects and The Australian Leaf Insect can be sent to Tasmania. Orders with live insects are sent via Express Post on Mondays. Egg only orders are sent by surface mail with tracking. Posting of orders is delayed during extreme weather.

PICK UP from Banyo in North Brisbane, Queensland is an option for anyone local.

Freight Costs and Payment Options: The freight cost for Insect only orders and Start-Up Kits is $14. Freight for Egg Only Orders is included in cost of the eggs. Payment can be made by Paypal. A PayPal account is not required to pay using PayPal.

Females Only Available. The Australian Leaf Insect, (Walaphyllium monteithi) is a harmless leaf eating insect, it is easy to care for and feeds readily on the Lilly Pilly species Syzygium australe. This plant is readily available in nurseries. Females can grow up to 8 cm long. Males are smaller and slender. They require an enclosure of minimum size 25 cm tall x 20cm x 20cm and room temperature of 22 to 28deg C. NOTE: this insect clings tightly and so may not be suitable for young children who wish to handle the insects. Not for sale to Western Australia.
